My Journey

I have had the opportunity to collaborate with brilliant makers and feature my writing in a multitude of exciting contexts. In 2019 I began to pursue writing seriously after working with Tectonic Theatre Project (Laramie Project, Moment Work) on #HereToo, a devised theater piece about gun violence in America. This collaboration was the start of my journey into writing for social change.

In the spring of '22 my hip hop theater piece GRAFF premiered at the Downtown Theatre in Happy Valley, PA, fully produced with an original score. The following year I was honored to collaborate with Climate Change Theatre Action, Arts and Climate Initiative, and ArtSake Theatre Company on All Eyes on Tomorrow, a climate awareness festival with my short play Trash and Space. In '24 I debuted my first original film Pray for Me, recipient of recognitions from San Diego International Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, including others.
